TYRANT THRONE is a
Jordan band, a country in the one that the brutal deaths style is
not established, founded in 2004, year from which they has been
working about their great Ep titled Abominations, apiece composed by
six song in twenty minutes of a Brutal , tech and intense death
metal quite personal. For about three years they continued without
drum, but they recruited one of session for their concerts, and for
luck recently to them have united Hanna Marzouqa for the percussion.
In any case, although the drum in this first release is programmed,
the result obtain is acceptable. It is possible to see them
influences of HATE ETERNAL, CANNIBAL CORPSE, IMPRECATION, o MORBID
ANGEL bands, but they are not a vulgar copy, the Ep is of the most
varied thing and the songs are very elaborated. We can delight with
some quite direct, dark, and tech riffs, or atmospheres and gloomy
feelings of airs old school. Phexataan (bass & vocal) uses some
excellent tones of voice, quite deep and guttural, very similar to
the vocalist of the Japanese MAGGOTY CORPSE band in the Baptisma
classic demo, making a brilliant vocal work. They are not devoted
only to the speed, and we can listen double drummers and crushing
half times very good. The lyrical concept includes old ethnic
concepts, mythology, philosophy, hate and rebellion, and the trio s
preparing what will be the full length at the moment, which they
promise that it will be more brutal, quick and heavier. by the way,
the Ep includes a CANNIBAL CORPSE cover versions (“Staring Throught
The Eyes Of The Dead” song), and the sound remember me to old
releases of HYPOCRISY. In short, solid songs, and a group intended
for being an international reference.

TYRANT THRONE es una
banda procedente de Jordania, un país en el que el brutal death no
esta muy asentado, fundada en 2004, año desde el cual han estado
trabajando su buenísimo EP titulado Abominations, compuesto por seis
temas en unos veinte minutos, de un Brutal, técnico e intenso death
metal bastante personal. Desde hace unos tres años andaban sin
batería, pero reclutaron a uno de sesión para sus conciertos, y por
suerte hace poco a ellos se ha unido un tal Hanna Marzouqa para la
percusión. En cualquier caso, aunque la batería en esta primera
edición sea programada, el resultado es muy aceptable Es posible que
cuando los escuchéis os vengan a la cabeza bandas como HATE ETERNAL,
CANNIBAL CORPSE, IMPRECATION, o MORBID ANGEL, pero no son una burda
copia ni por asomo, el Ep es de lo más variado y los temas están muy
currados. Podemos deleitarnos con unos riffs bastante directos,
oscuros y técnicos, atmósferas y sentimientos lóbregos de aires old
school. Su cantante y bajista, Phexataan emplea unos registros
acojonantes, con una voz y gruñidos bastante profundos y guturales,
muy parecidos al vocalista de los japoneses MAGGOTY CORPSE en lo que
fue su demo Baptista, haciendo una labor y un trabajo excelente. No
se dedican solo a la rapidez, y podemos escuchar dobles bombos y
medios tiempos muy buenos. El fondo lírico engloba conceptos étnicos
antiguos, mitología, filosofía, odio y rebelión, y el trío se
encuentra actualmente preparando lo que será su primer álbum
completo el cual prometen que será más brutal, rápido y pesado. Por
cierto, se han atrevido a versionar el “Staring Throught The Eyes Of
The Dead” de CANNIBAL CORPSE, así que no se puede pedir más. El
sonido es bastante bueno (a mi me suena a los dos primeros álbumes
de HYPOCRISY). En definitiva canciones sólidas, y un grupo destinado
a convertirse en una referencia internacional.
