- Tyrant Throne's New Theme.jpg)
As was announced some months ago on
JorZine.com forums by Phexataan, the band decided to adopt the
Nabataean Mythology theme in future Tyrant Throne releases. Coming
from a country with such a majestic ancient monumental city like
Petra the capital of the Nabataean Kingdom, it would be great to
make brutal music about its mysterious mythology.
Musically, the band started working on
the new material, but still not heavily because most members are
quite busy with different stuff, but soon real composing sessions
will start for the next release which will be a full-length album.
This time the music will be even heavier, faster and more sick and
brutal than "Abominations EP" that was released in January last
year.

- Phexataan Guest Vocals With Soulbleed
Phexataan was asked by the members of Thrash/Melodic Death Metal
band "Soulbleed" to do the complete vocal work as a guest on their
debut album which they're already recording at Phexataan's personal
studio "The Phexagon". The band needed someone to do the vocals for
the album after their original vocalist left the band during
recording time for personal reasons. The task was accepted by
Phexataan and vocals recording sessions will start soon.

R.I.P. Witold "Vitek" Kieltyka

We are extremely shocked
and sad to learn that one of the best blasters around lost his life
in a tragic tour bus accident yesterday near the Russian/Belarusian
border - Vitek (Witold Kieltyka), the drummer of one of the bands we
most admire and bang our heads to - Decapitated!!!
Our deep condolences to the Decapitated crew, Vitek's family and
friends, and of course to every Metalhead around the world. We also
hope for a full recovery for Covan (Adrian Kowanek) the band's
vocalist who was also seriously injured in the accident...
We shall drink for you Vitek... Rest in Peace

bands and great people. Thanks for everyone in Lebanon especially
the guys from Kaoteon for the great hospitality. Thanks for all the
people who attended especially those who came from Jordan specially
to see and support us.
Also, thanks again for Rami Haikal and the whole Bilocate crew...
The show was very nice, all bands were very good, nice small
underground pub, the sound wasn't perfect but it was good and heavy
as hell - playing there was a blast anyways.
Some pics from the gig are already available on the Media section.

- Gig Summary: Metal Fest 2007/Highway Inferno I ... & More
Metal Fest 2007, Cairo-Egypt:
A great day, a great show! Tyrant Throne's first show outside of
Jordan. The band did a great performance and enjoyed a long event of
Extreme Metal watching other amazing bands as well. The crowds went
crazy, the Egyptian fans are fucking amazing, they gave us a great
atmosphere while playing that made the show even better, we would
love to play in Egypt again for those crazy fans!
The gig venue was changed one day
before the show for some technical problems, the new venue was
Al-Badia also in Cairo. The only down point in the show for us was
the electrical/technical problems we faced which started during the
5th track on our list; something was wrong with the electricity so
the sound and light systems kept going off until they were finally
fixed and we continued our show.
Special thanks for Ekramy, Kareem,
Gina, Metson and the rest of the organizing team, we miss you
already guys, we hope we'll be able to make it again to Egypt!
Special salutes to all the bands that played in the fest or the
bands and people we met there. Deathless Anguish, Wasted Land,
Grieving Age, Dark Philosophy, Hate Suffocation, Wyvern... You all
kick ass, we'll meet again on the road!!!
Highway Inferno I,
Jerash-Jordan: A cool small Metal gig. A perfect preparation for
Egypt's Metal Fest. All bands did a great job. Thanks for the
support from Bilocate, Spade and Dementis. Non to be said more.
Tyrant Throne's playlist on
both shows (only 8th track differs):
01 The Chaos Beast
02 Staring Through the Eyes of the
Dead (Cannibal Corpse)
03 Slaughter for Salvation
04 Nonexistence (Six Feet Under)
05 Excavation to Our Rotten
Ancestors
06 Summoning Redemption (Morbid
Angel)
07 One Man Kingdom
08 Powder Burns (Bolt Thrower)/Excavation to Our Rotten Ancestors
Few pics from Merza Farm's Highway
Inferno I gig are now added on the "Media" section. You can check
them out directly from

After
3 fucking hard years trying to look for a drummer who can handle our
extremely fast and stamina consuming music, we
were finally able to find a technical drummer who can play our music
perfectly. Hanna Marzouqa; an old friend of ours is now officially

machine, and he earns his place well behind the drum kit of Tyrant
Throne.
With this new stone solid line-up, we are ready to kick more asses

Phexataan - Bass &
Vocals
Zaher Siryani - Guitars

16.03.2007 - Drummer
Needed
We're looking for a serious and
technical permanent drummer for the band. If you're not that good
don't waste our time or yours!! We need a drummer who is capable of
playing the like of the material on our EP "Abominations", a
flexible one, i.e.: a blast beater, fast on double bass, good
stamina and most importantly with a good musical feeling on drums!
There are many big plans ahead of
us, so we need a strong drummer to be able to go strongly!
Live gigs and a lot of other big shit are waiting...
If you don't know that already; we
play Technical Brutal Death Metal. If you haven't heard our music

Augury) will be broadcasted during the program.

Metal! The final stage after the mixing is the Mastering process, it
should be started in 1 or 2 days.
Now we're waiting for the cover
artwork which is being worked on by the Swiss artist; Genzo. Once
the mastering and cover artwork are done, the printing and pressing
will start, so Abominations release date will be announced soon!
More to come...

Studio Update 02:
Abominations
Recording of vocal
lines was completed about 2 weeks ago. We should have started with
the next step directly but some circumstances delayed our work as
usual; We had to move from the Sirenwave studio for some specific
reasons concerning the building that the studio lies in. We moved all
the studio equipment to Tyrant Throne/Augury's rehearsal room which
is now turned into a studio room, we even got some new studio
equipments as enhancements! Sadly there is no Sirenwave studio
anymore, but the new studio room will be turned into an official
studio soon to serve the needs of all local bands; its basically the
same equipments of the Sirenwave studio only enhanced, but with a
different location and title; There is no specific title yet, but am
thinking about "Phexagon Studio"!!
Now
we are done fixing and building the new studio room, that means
we'll soon continue our work on Abominations. We still have to
equalize the guitars, do the last touches on drums, mix the tracks
and the EP will be done.
Some stupid pics
from the recording sessions of the EP are uploaded, more pics will
be added in the next update. The pics are available on "Media" in
the "Studio Pics" section. To view them from here directly click the

Studio Update 01:
Abominations
We are done
recording everything except the vocals now for our coming EP
"Abominations". We started recording rhythm guitars about 10 days
ago, and they where lain down in 5 days by Zaher Siryani, after that
Phexataan started with the bass lines and they were done in 3 days.
Yesterday the final touches on lead guitars where done by Zaher.
A little problem
emerged which is that we had a deadline until Wednesday night which
was yesterday because the producer Sirenwave will leave Jordan for
good to the USA, so by that we wont have time to do the mixing
process because it takes a lot of time and needs lots of
concentration. Now the thing we're going to do is to record the
vocals here and send the files to Sirenwave online and he'll do the
mixing from there. Fortunately we will still be able to use the
Sirenwave studio for the recording of the vocal parts and also for
the future because the keys will be left with us. Hopefully
Phexataan will start recording the vocal parts in 4 days maximum.
As you understand
already, the mixing process will be delayed for some days, that
means the release of the EP will be also delayed for a short time,
but its worth the wait, you'll see for yourself when its out...
That is for now!
Keep checking the website for the latest details. Some pics from the
studio will be posted soon.
08.08.2006
- No Near Live Shows
There will be no
live shows for the band until the end of August and maybe September
because we want to put our full concentration on the recording of
the EP.
05.08.2006
- Soon in the Studio
We're finally done
composing the material for our first EP. We will start the recording
process next week at The Sirenwave studio. Tyrant Throne's EP will
be probably called "Abominations". More info soon...

- Apologies to Fans!
We send our
apologies to all the fans who attended yesterday's show at Geezer
and who were expecting to see Tyrant Throne or Phex performing in
that gig. Although we were supposed to perform and our name was
written on the gig's flyers, but we couldn't perform, because, we
were informed only 2 days before the show that the session guitarist
Sirenwave wont be able to perform for personal reasons, so we didn't
have the time to get another session guitarist. Also because the
session live vocalist who was going to perform with us didn't have
the time to finish working on the vocal parts for songs chosen for
the gig in the given time. The session vocalist was Rami Mattar, who
is also the vocalist of "Deathraw" and the concert manager!

Gig Summary: The End of Heartache Trip
Well
well well, what I've got to say! Could it get worse than
that? I don't think so, at least we've learnt another
lesson about Jordan and it's foolish peoples' mentality!
Have fun reading! That trip thing was the biggest down
point in our musical life so far! It was a complete mess,
not a single good thing happened; zero managerial work!
Here's what happened, in a summarized way of course
(That's for both bands Tyrant Throne and Phex):
We arrived to Wadi Rum at
about 13:30, weren't able to see anything
because of dust, but that is not an issue! After an hour
and a half, the lunch buffet
was set, the food sucked, it was more like horse shit!
After that, we went and
got our selves a tent. Until 17:00 which was the hour when
the bands should
start playing, the stage equipment
wasn't set on stage yet, amps and monitors were still in
their boxes, the sound mother fucking assholes were
sleeping; I got really angry because of that and went to
the stage with Dementis's drummer and guitarist and we
started setting the equipment ourselves, then when the
sound guys saw us they came to set the equipment. When
everything was set, electricity problems happened, and
until the problems were solved it was 19:00 already. We,
Tyrant Throne started playing, and the mixer guy fucked
everything up, he kept playing with volumes all the time,
then a manager from the camp came and said that the gig
must stop because the DJ party has to start, so we couldn't even complete the playlist. Promises came
that at 9 o'clock the DJ party will end and the metal gig
will start again -
LIES! The DJ party didn't stop before 1:30 AM. Anyways,
even if the gig was going to continue at 9, we as the Phex
band and the rest of the bands decided not to perform and
draw back after what we faced when we played as Tyrant
Throne. So Tyrant Throne was the only band that performed
and only for 20 minutes. There were only about 35
metalheads max including band members; the hundreds of
other attendants were families, kids and old people,
that's the reason why we were forced to
discontinue! It wasn't a metal concert after all; only a
party in Wadi Rum with some metal performance!
The biggest fuck up: When
we came down from stage and went back to
our tent, we found out that all our things and baggage
were thrown out of the tent and put in a place far, filled
with sand! The reason was because they wanted to give the
tent for a family!!! So the camp management simply throws
our things out and gives the tent to the family! Its great
how they treat bands, eh? After arguments with them, we
got promises for 3 hours that a new tent will be set for
us - LIES! We stayed until dawn sitting on chairs in the
middle of the camp looking at stars! In a moment of
silence, guys from the "intelligence" started making some
hustle about hearing people swearing God's name, so
problems started all over, they even wanted to take a girl
who accompanied us to the police station for swearing, we
went to talk to them but they forced us to stay away;
unbelievable! After that, they wanted to gather all the
metal guys in the camp to take their names and see if
there are any previous charges against them (us as well of
course)! What the fuck, from problem to problem. The
problem was finally solved I don't know how, I think one
of the security guys went and talked to the intelligence
guys, so no one's name was taken! These guys just wanted
to have fun by the way... At about twelve at
mid-night as I recall, dinner finally came, and I wish it
never did; I think it was Hyenas' meat or something, the
most disgusting thing I ever ate in my life! After dinner
we went and sat again under the stars, till around 3:30
AM, then everyone slept at someone else's tent, friends'
tents and stuff like that! Thanks a lot for Dementis for
offering us to share their tent with them, you rule guys!
But we didn't want to be pain in the ass!
So to sum up, is was total
shit! Water bottles; hot like a piss and so fucking
expensive... The next day we made it better ourselves, we
went to Aqaba with all the group, but there we split from
them and went alone (Johnny Mazurka's idea), took hotel rooms, got
a rest, swam in the hotel's pool and met with the group
again and went back to Amman!
Performance wise, we did so
great, and the sound was so good for the first time ever
in Jordan, but as mentioned before, the guy on the mixer
kept fucking with the volumes, so he made us stop in some
songs because of his stupidity. Every now and then one of
the guitars loose its sound! And the bastard liar says he
was doing nothing!
I hope the bad picture and
disappointment will be removed in future gigs. There's a
gig probably on June 15th, Tyrant Throne will participate,
with the same
playlist probably. Also my one-man band Phex will
participate and I will keep the same session members to
fill the line-up which are mostly Tyrant Throne's members.
The last point that I want
to mention is that not everything was the fault of Rami
Mattar; the metal part manager of the concert; mostly all
the blame goes on the camp management, specially a guy
called Saleh!
The pics above are from the
trip: First pic is from Tyrant Throne's performance. The
second and third pics show us sitting "Tentless"!

25.04.2006 - Gig Summary: The End of Heartache II
Like always, Tyrant Throne
performed a crazy show, with brutal mosh-pits. The sound was ok this
time. All the bands performed excellently. There is nothing more to
be said. Sorry for this late summary.
Tyrant Throne's playlist on the
show:
01 Ruin (Lamb of God)
02 Nonexistence (Six Feet Under)
03 An Experiment in Homicide
(Cannibal Corpse)
04 Don't Care (Obituary)
05 Staring Through the Eyes of the
Dead (Cannibal Corpse)
06 The Chaos Beast (Tyrant Throne)
Ruin and Nonexistence were
repeated after The Chaos Beast, because it was still too early to end
the show!
Thanks to all the fans who
attended the show, especially to those who like Tyrant Throne!
Special thanks to Hamzeh Abu-Fares
from Dementis for performing with us live for the second time!
Gig pics will be posted soon; keep
checking the website to view them...
22.04.2006 - Bad News!
The session guitarist Sirenwave
wont be able to participate with us on the End of Heartache II gig,
and there is no time to get another session guitarist now and teach
him the songs since the gig is tomorrow. We thought about not
participating, then we decided to perform with one guitarist only;
but that will make us shorten the playlist and to change some songs
on it, we have tried to choose songs which work with one guitarist
only. We hope everything works out well... The show line-up will be
as the following:
Zaher Siryani - Guitars
Phexataan - Bass & Backing Vocals
Hamzeh Abu-Fares - Session Vocals
Software - Drums
18.04.2006 - Live: The End of Heartache II

26.03.2006 - Gig Summary: The End of Heartache I
Yesterday's gig was a
down point for us. Our performance was very well as a band, but
the
drum machine fucked us up, the software kept
getting stuck and we had to repeat 2 songs twice from the
beginning because the machine stopped in the
middle of the songs, what the fuck, we're
always used to go and kick ass in shows, but this time we got fucked
up. The sound was so brutal and good, but
what the fuck the drum tracks CD just got
wrecked. I think we'll never use drum
machine again, but the problem is that where can we find a drummer
in Jordan who can play Brutal Death Metal...???
Talking crowd wise,
the audience were amazing, the place was so crowded, and the fans
gave us an amazingly brutal mosh-pit, it was more like an ancient
battle!!!
